A member of the "Orange Crush Defense," Pro Bowl linebacker Bob Swenson never missed a game through his first 6 of 8 NFL seasons in Denver. All in all, he snagged 11 career interceptions and scooped up 9 fumble recoveries (plus a touchdown) despite losing the 1980 season to injury. Later, Swenson partnered with teammate Steve Foley to form a successful land-development company. This Balfour celestrium, size 11 ring celebrates Swenson's career with shank designs referencing his name, position, number, Pro Bowl selection and Super Bowl appearance: "R.S. LINEBACKER / 51 / 81 ALL PRO SBXII." A blue-enamel stallion is set among a bed of CZs on top, with "R.S." engraved inside. NM condition. Accompanied by a Balfour box and 2008 purchase LOA.
