George Gervin was one of the basketball’s most dominant scorers of the 1970s and 1980s. A star in both the NBA and ABA, Gervin is most well-known for his time with the San Antonio Spurs. “The Iceman” led the NBA in scoring four times, and was enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame in 1996.
This plaque was awarded to Gervin in 1979 in recognition of his All-Star nomination. Gervin made 12 All-Star teams over the course of his professional career. In 1979 Gervin average 29.6 points per game, leading the league. This plaque measures 9 ½ by 7 ½ inches. This item comes with a Gervin LOA.
