Joe Morgan was wrapping up his 8-year tenure in Cincinnati in 1979, a time in which he earned consecutive NL MVP Awards and helped the Reds win multiple pennants and back-to-back World Championships in 1975-76. Morgan’s 1979 Hillerich & Bradsby S44 model bat shows good game use with ball marks and scuffs visible on the barrel. The handle has the remains of a crisscross pattern of adhesive tape and a light coat of pine tar. The Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in black marker, completing this Big Red Machine gamer.
