Born Isidro Monge Pedroza, Sid was a relief pitcher who played for the California Angels, Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, Philadelphia Phillies, and the San Diego Padres. This ball was used during the 1979 All-Star Game where Sid Monge was a member of the American League squad. This game took place at the Kingdom in Seattle, Washington on July 17, 1979 and would see the National League emerge victorious. Monge has autographed the ball over the sweet spot in bold blue ink and has inscribed “ GAME USED 79 ALL STAR”. This ball shows excellent signs of use and comes with a LOA from Sid Monge.
