“Mr. Clean” Steve Garvey was the Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman through their great dynasty years of 1974 through 1981. In that period, Garvey made eight all-star teams, won four Gold Gloves, a World Championship and was the National League’s Most Valuable Player. Garvey used this Hillerich & Bradsby C263 model bat during the last part of his Dodgers career, which culminated in the 1981 World Series victory over the hated New York Yankees. This offered bat does not display any player use and has been dated to the 1980-1983 seasons. Garvey has signed this bat in bold black marker on the knob and inscribed “God Bless”, “6” and “1974 NL MVP”. This bat comes with a STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (1B05173) and a LOA from Beckett Authentication (AA08567) for the signature and inscriptions.
