Presented is a lot of36 ticket stubs from Major League Baseball games played from 1980 to 1989. The first ticket stub in this lot is from Opening Day, April 10, 1980 at Comiskey Park in Chicago, when the Baltimore Orioles beat the White Sox, 5-3. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (23421890). The second ticket stub in this lot is from May 13, 1980, when the Cincinnati Reds beat the New York Mets, 15-4, at Riverfront Stadium. Third baseman Ray Knight hit two home runs in the fifth inning to lead the Reds. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (22299470).  The third ticket stub in this lot is from Arlington (Texas) Stadium, an August 2, 1980 Red Sox 1-0 win over the Rangers. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21567649). The fourth ticket stub in this lot is from September 1, 1980 at Wrigley Field, when the Atlanta Braves beat the Cubs, 5-2. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21181740). The fifth ticket stub in this lot is from Shea Stadium in Queens, NY, Mets 8, Cardinals 0 on September 28, 1980. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21252408).  The sixth ticket stub in this lot is from Chicago’s Comiskey Park, where on Oct. 2, 1980 the White Sox beat the Oakland Athletics, 9-4.  This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21041523). 

The seventh ticket stub in this lot is from April 9, 1981, Opening Day of the season at Dodgers Stadium, with Los Angeles beating the Houston Astros, 2-0, behind rookie phenom Fernando Valenzuela’s first shut out. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (22299387). The eighth ticket stub in this lot is from August 18, 1981, when the Dodgers beat the Cubs, 5-0 at Wrigley Field in Chicago. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21086940).  The ninth ticket stub in this lot is from pitcher Nolan Ryan’s 185th career win, a 9-1 Houston Astros win over the Montreal Expos at the Astrodome on August 19, 1981.  This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (215292293). The 10th ticket stub in this lot is from September 7, 1981, when the Baltimore Orioles beat the Cleveland Indians, 9-2 at Cleveland Municipal Stadium. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (22299415). The 11th ticket stub in this lot is from Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia from the April 23, 1982 game, when the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Phillies, 9-2. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21086931). The 12th ticket stub in this lot is from Kaufman Stadium in Kansas City, August 8, 1982, with the Baltimore Orioles beating the Royals, 10-6. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (19662227).

The 13th ticket stub in this lot is from a doubleheader at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium on August 17, 1982. The Montreal Expos won game 1 over the Braves, 13-7, and game 2, 3-2. Expos catcher and future Hall of Famer Gary Carter notched his 1,000th career hit in game 1. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21251478). The 14th ticket stub in this lot is from Chicago’s Wrigley Field, where the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Cubs, 4-3 on September 8, 1982. Bill Bucker slugged his 100th career homer while Steve Carlton notched his 291st career win. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21477306). The 15th ticket stub in this lot is from July 4, 1983 at Yankee Stadium, where New York’s Dave Righetti threw a no-hitter to give the Yankees a 4-0 win over the Boston Red Sox. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21378072). The 16th ticket stub in this lot is from a doubleheader on July 30, 1983 at Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia. The Chicago Cubs took game 1, 4-3, while the Phillies flipped the script and won game 2, 4-3. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21086932). The 17th ticket stub in this lot is from Bob Forsch’s no-hitter at Busch Memorial Stadium in St. Louis, as the Cardinals beat the Expos, 3-0 on Sept. 26, 1983. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21034629). The 18th ticket stub in this lot is from the June 23, 1984 game at Wrigley Field, Chicago Cubs 12, St. Louis Cardinals 11. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (60140858). 

The 19th ticket stub in this lot is from September 4, 1984, when the St. Louis Cardinals beat the New York Mets, 12-2 at Busch Stadium.  This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21086930).  The 20th ticket stub in this lot is from September 17, 1984, when the Kansas City Royals defeated the California Angels, 10-1 at Kaufman Stadium. Notably, the Angels only run was scored by Reggie Jackson when he hit his 500th career home run. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21355607). The 21st ticket stub in this lot is from September 30, 1984, when Pete Rose hit his 726th career double to pass Stan Musial as the all-time National League leader for doubles during the Reds 7-4 win over the Houston Astros at Riverfront Stadium in Cincinnati. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (22125126). The 22nd ticket stub in this lot is from Opening Day of the 1985 season at Wrigley Field, April 9, when the Chicago Cubs captured a 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21477410). The 23rd ticket stub in this lot dates from July 20, 1985, the Major League debut of Cecil Fielder. The Oakland Athletics beat the Toronto Blue Jays, 5-1 at Exhibition Stadium in Toronto, Canada.  This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21378087). The 24th ticket stub in this lot is also from July 20, 1985 at Exhibition Stadium in Toronto. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (25511582). 

The 25th ticket stub in this lot is from Wrigley Field, when future Hall of Famer Andre Dawson slugged his 200th career home run en route to the Montreal Expos 10-7 win over the Chicago Cubs.  This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (22125164). The 26th ticket stub in this lot is from Anaheim Stadium, when the California Angels picked up an 8-7 win over the New York Yankees on June 2, 1986. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (22027247). The 27th ticket stub in this lot is from Angels pitcher Don Sutton’s 300th career win, as he led Anaheim to a 5-1 win over the Texas Rangers at Arlington Stadium on June 18, 1986. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21378192). The 28th ticket stub in this lot is from July 21, 1986 at Wrigley Field, Cubs 6, San Diego Padres 1. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21477454). The 29th ticket stub in this lot is from October 5, 1986, when Don Mattingly of the Yankees hit his 53rd double of the season to break Lou Gehrig’s single-season team record. The Yankees beat the Red Sox, 7-0 at Fenway Park. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (23421902). The 30th ticket stub in this lot is from June 24, 1987 at Busch Stadium, when the St. Louis Cardinal beat the Philadelphia Phillies, 5-3, despite future Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt’s 512th career home run. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (31648168).

The 31st ticket stub in this lot is from the MLB debut of pitcher Al Leiter on Sept. 15, 1987.  Leiter picked up his first career win as the Yankees defeated the Brewers, 4-3, at Yankee Stadium. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (22393595). The 32nd ticket stub in this lot is from Jack Murphy Stadium in San Diego, April 23, 1988, as the Padres beat the Houston Astros, 4-0 behind an Ed Whitson 4-hitter. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21477452). The 33rd ticket stub in this lot is from the Houston Astrodome, an 8-6 Astros win over the Giants on June 26, 1988. This game was future Hall of Famer Craig Biggio’s MLB debut with the Astros. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21086939). The 34th ticket stub in this lot is from the Sept. 20, 1988 Milwaukee Brewers 6-5 win over the California Angels at Anaheim Stadium. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21034636). The 35th ticket stub in this lot is from the Seattle Mariners 7-0 win over the California Angels on April 8, 1989 at Anaheim Stadium. This game marked the debut of pitcher Jim Abbott. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21251516). The 36th ticket stub in this lot is from the September 18, 1989 Chicago Cubs 10-6 win over the New York Mets at Wrigley Field. Notably, this game featured relief pitcher Mitch Williams’ only career home run. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21034474).
