Silver Slugger Award that was presented to Keith Hernandez following the 1980 Major League Baseball season. Given to the most productive offensive performer at each position, the trophy features a 34"-long silver-plated bat, which is attached to a wooden base in the shape of home plate, and a wood backing with a "Louisville Slugger" logo situated at top right. Displays a plaque with the inscription reading, "Hillerich & Bradsby Co. - Silver Slugger Award - Presented to Keith Hernandez-1B - St. Louis - Member of the Sporting News National League Offensive Team 1980." 35" tall total. Fine condition with usual surface scuffs and dings from storage and display. LOA from Keith Hernandez.
