Baseball’s hit king Pete Rose wore these Philadelphia Phillies home pants during the 1980 season. Rose, an All-Star in 1980, helped the Phillies win their first World Series title in franchise history, hitting .282 with 64 RBI and a National League leading 42 doubles. Rose finished the 1980 season with 3,557 hits, well on his way to breaking Ty Cobb’s all-time Major League record. These pants are white with red pinstripes, and a maroon band running down each leg. A Wilson size “32” tag and a “Rose 80 1 28” tag are sewn on the inside waistband of the pants. These pants show light wear and come with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
