Behind Schmitty's 48 home runs and Lefty's 24 victories, the Philadelphia Phillies captured their first World Championship in 1980. Here is the Balfour ring given to Phillies batboy John Bush following the season. This size "11-1/2" ring is made of celestrium and has CZ stones, rather than diamonds, in the "P" emblem. This emblem is seated upon a red stone, which is encircled by a beveled perimeter of "PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES" and "WORLD CHAMPIONS" in raised lettering. One of the ring's shanks displays the nameplate ("BUSH"), the World Series score ("P 4 - KC 2"), and a relief of Vet Stadium. The other shank carries a championship trophy and the year, "1980." Showing very little overall wear, the ring was owned by and comes with an LOA from former Phillies batboy John Bush.
Ring comes with Original Letter of Authenticity from Bush dated 6/9/1987 as well as his sales receipt that showed he sold the ring for $3750 back in 1987.
