What can you say about Carlton Fisk? For a quarter century he called the pitches for the Red and White Sox, won Rookie of the Year, garnered three Silver Slugger and a Gold Glove Award, led Boston to the brink of a World Championship, and was voted into Cooperstown in 2000. The second half of Fisk’s career was spent with the Chicago White Sox from 1981 until his retirement in 1993. Fisk wore these red Chicago White Sox batting gloves during his time with the club. These gloves display outstanding game use with heavy staining on the palms and having been dried out. “FRANKLIN” is black on a white patch on the back of the hands and the wrist straps each have “72” handwritten in black marker – the number Fisk wore with the White Sox. These gloves come with a LOA from MEARS for the game use.
