Golden State Warriors star shooting guard World B. Free wore this blue Warriors road jersey during the team’s 105-77 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on February 28th, 1982 at The Omni in Atlanta. Free recorded 23 points in the Warriors romp, with his Hall of Fame teammate Bernard King leading the way with 28 points. Free, playing in his second year with the Warriors, averaged 22.9 points and 5.4 assists per game during the 1981-82 season. Al Attles’ men finished the 1981-82 season with a 45-37 record, narrowly missing out on a rare playoff appearance.

The offered jersey is blue, with “WARRIORS” screen printed across the chest in yellow and white lettering. Free’s number “21” is screen printed on the chest in yellow, and is surrounded by a yellow circle featuring the state of California outline and a yellow star. “FREE” is screen printed in yellow on the back of the jersey over a matching blue nameplate. “21” is screen printed below his name in yellow and white numerals. Warriors and Medalist Sand-Knit size “42” tags are sewn on the front left tail of this jersey. This jersey has been photo matched to the February 28th game by the MeiGray Group, who have provided a LOA.
