Longtime Major Leaguer Rusty Staub closed out his career with the New York Mets. Staub, who previously played for New York from 1972-1975, rejoined the franchise in 1981 until he retired in 1985. Offered here is a blue Starter New York Mets jacket worn by Staub between 1981 and 1985. This zipper-down jacket has the Mets interlocking “NY” logo sewn on the upper chest in orange chenille stitching on a blue felt background. The back of the jacket has “STAUB” sewn on in orange and white tackle twill and his number “10” sewn on the left sleeve in the same orange and white tackle twill. The collar, waist and sleeve ends are made of a ribbed material and have a blue/white/orange/white/blue striping pattern. The Starter logo is embroidered on the base of the left sleeve in white and the Starter XL tag is sewn on the inside back collar. This comes with LOA from MEARS for the use.
