This jersey is indeed a 1981 All-Star Jersey and was incorrectly identified in the print catalog as a 1985 All-Star Jersey

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar made the 11th All-Star team of his career during the 1980-81 season. The 33-year old Abdul-Jabbar averaged 26.2 points, 10.3 boards, and 3.4 assists per contest for the “Showtime” Lakers, teaming up with all-world point guard Magic Johnson to lead the Lakers to a 54-28 regular season record.

Offered here is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s Western Conference jersey and shorts from the 1981 All-Star Game, held at the Coliseum at Richfield in Richfield, Ohio. Abdul-Jabbar started the All-Star Game, scoring 15 points and grabbing four boards during the Western Conference’s 123-120 loss to the Eastern Conference. This uniform is displayed in a 28 x 42-inch frame with the back of the jersey and front of the shorts presented to the viewer. “ABDUL-JABBAR” is sewn on the back of this blue jersey in white tackle twill above a white screen-printed “33”. The “33” displays minor wear. A pattern of white and red stars accents this jersey. The sleeve and collar openings are accented with a red and white band. The shorts are blue as well, with a white-red-white waistband and white and red accents around the leg openings. “WEST” and red and white stars are printed on the right leg, while an NBA 35th Anniversary patch is sewn on the left leg. A Medalist tag is sewn on the back inside waistband. This uniform derives directly from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and a personally hand-signed LOA from Kareem will accompany this item. The jersey and shorts may be shipped in its current frame or without the frame per customer request.
