Presented here is a typed letter signed by Marlene Dietrich. In this letter, Dietrich pulls no punches with her personal feelings, laying shots on Fay Dunaway (“Fay Dunaway should be ashamed of herself, but then she probably needed the money to pay her liquor bills.”), Joan Crawford’s daughter (with Dietrich referring to Christina Crawford as a “frightful b*tch”), and Francois Mitterand, whom Dietrich calls “the idiot”. This letter is two pages long and dated to August 7th, 1981. Dietrich has signed her name in black pen simply as “Marlene”. This item is displayed in a 20 x 21-inch frame along with the original mailing envelope to a Mr. Peter Bankers and a small photograph of Dietrich. This item comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
