George Gervin was one of the basketball’s most dominant scorers of the 1970s and 1980s. A star in both the NBA and ABA, Gervin is most well-known for his time with the San Antonio Spurs. “The Iceman” led the NBA in scoring four times, and was enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame in 1996. Gervin was a seven-time All-NBA Team selection and was named to the All-Time ABA Team. With 68 career games of over 40 points, Gervin’s legacy as a scorer is nearly unmatched.

Presented here is George Gervin’s All-NBA Second Team plaque from the 1982-83 season. Gervin averaged 26.2 points per game that season, leading the Spurs to a division title and the Western Conference Finals. This 10 x 12 inch plaque features a gold crest of an NBA player surrounded by two laurel branches. This item comes with a Gervin LOA.
