Hall of Fame swingman George Gervin wore this San Antonio Spurs jersey during the 1982-83 NBA season, his 10th season in San Antonio. Gervin won four NBA scoring titles, and was named to 12 All-Star teams across his ABA and NBA career. During the three seasons (1982-83, 1983-84 & 1984-85) in which this offered jersey was worn by Gervin, the Hall of Famer averaged 24.5 points per game and led the Spurs to a 53-29 record during the 1982-83 season while averaging 26.2 points per game, including the Midwest Division title. “The Iceman” averaged 26.2 points per game in his NBA career, and was named as one of the NBA’s 50 Greatest Players during the NBA’s 50th Anniversary celebrations.
This road Spurs jersey is black, with gray, white, and black accents on the collar and sleeve openings. “SAN ANTONIO” is sewn on the chest in white tackle twill, with Gervin’s now-retired number “44” sewn on the chest and back in white tackle twill. “GERVIN” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill. A Wilson size “42” tag is sewn on the front left tail of this jersey. This jersey displays light wear and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
