Newly elected Hall of Famer and former defensive back Donnie Shell played his entire career with the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1974-1987. Shell was on all four of the Super Bowl winning Steel Curtain defensive teams of the 1970s. This offered jersey is a Steelers road jersey from the 1982 season, his ninth in the NFL. Showing excellent game use, this jersey features his number “31” sewn on in black tackle twill on the front, back and shoulders. “SHELL” is sewn on in yellow and black on a matching white nameplate above the number on the back of the jersey. The sleeves have the customary Steelers black and yellow striping and the collar is rounded. There are multiple team repairs on this jersey, including on the six areas on the back, three on the left shoulder, two on the left sleeve and one on the upper front left chest. This jersey comes with a LOA from Donnie Shell for the game use.
