Autographed by the Boston Red Sox’ star outfielder on the barrel between the Louisville Slugger brand mark and his stamped signature, this professional model bat displays outstanding usage. Ball marks and stitch impressions abound on the barrel along with blue ink transfers.The top of the barrel shows evidence of being drilled and filled. Rice’s number 14 has been applied in black marker to the knob and adhesive tape wraps around the handle below a light coat of pine tar. This ash 35.75”, 32.3oz model M110 Louisville Slugger is flame burned and is among the ones ordered by Jim Rice for the 1982 season.
