Graded GEM MINT 9.5 by BGS. Hall of Famer, in a Rookie Card depiction that circulated three years before his first Topps card was issued. This collectible introduced Hulk Hogan, the larger-than-life athlete whose charisma was chiefly responsible for the rise of professional wrestling in the 1980s. He defined the genre, acted as the sport's most beloved personality and transformed the W.W.F. into a worldwide phenomenon. Hero and master showman, the 6'8", 300-pound athlete regularly astounded fans with awesome displays of strength and agility. (Few can forget "The Main Event" in which an injured Hogan retained his title by lifting and slamming an undefeated 500-pound giant named André to the canvas.)
