The Hall of Fame centerfielder Kirby Puckett wore this Rawlings HOH-80TF model glove circa 1983-84. Puckett played the 1983 season with the Twins Class A farm team, the Visalia Oaks of the California League, hitting .314 with nine homers, 97 RBI, and 48 stolen bases in 138 games. Puckett began the 1984 season with the Twins AAA ballclub, but his excellent play and the Twins tenuous situation in center saw Puckett make his MLB debut on May 8th, 1984. The Chicago native took to life in the Majors immediately, hitting .296 in his rookie campaign and finishing third in the American League Rookie of the Year race. From then on, Puckett was a star, making 10 All-Star teams before complications from glaucoma forced Puckett’s premature retirement after the 1995 season. Puckett was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001.

This tan Rawlings HOH-80TF model glove features a Trap-Eze web and is constructed of Rawlings Heart of the Hide leather. A red Rawlings tag is sewn on the wrist. Puckett’s number “34” is handwritten on and just below the Rawlings tag in black marker. A circular Rawlings logo is applied to the thumb. Between the circular Rawlings logo and the index finger holster is “PUCK”, handwritten in black marker. Puckett has signed the thumb of this glove in green marker. The glove comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00552) for the game use and a LOA from JSA (Z67441) for Puckett’s signature.
