New York Knicks legend Bill Cartwright wore this white Knicks home jersey during the 1983-84 NBA season. Cartwright, a towering center drafted by the Knicks in 1979, averaged 17.9 points per game during his first five years in the NBA before a serious foot injury limited his effectiveness. This size “46” jersey has a Gerry Cosby tag sewn on the back inside collar and two Medalist Sand-Knit tags sewn on the front left tail. Cartwright has signed the “5” digit on the back of the jersey in black marker. He inscribed “To Mike” on the “2” digit and “Best of luck” on the “5”. This jersey shows moderate wear, and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema, as well as a COA from JSA (U56363) for the signature.
