A great Hall of Fame-worthy bat from one of the Reds all-time greats. Tony Perez made a triumphant return to Cincinnati where he earlier helped win two World Championships and establish himself as a Cooperstown-bound force. Though at the end of his 23-year career, Perez had one final burst of greatness in 1985 when he hit .328, briefly unleashing the power that earned him the nickname "Big Dog". Perez's Louisville Slugger R43 model bat shows outstanding use with a handle crack. Many ball marks with stitch impressions and black and blue ink transfers can be seen on the barrel. Red and blue bat rack paint streaks are visible and a moderate coat of pine tar is on the handle. Perez’ number “24” is hand written on the knob in black marker and the Reds Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in Black marker adding “HOF 2000”. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B10693) for the game use with a grade of GU 9 and a COA from PSA/DNA (AC41458) for the signature.
