After leaving the University of Georgia, All-American running back Herschel Walker joined the New Jersey Generals of the USFL due to the player-friendly rules of the upstart league. Walker was an instant success, rushing for 5,562 yards in his three seasons in the USFL. In 1985, Walker set a professional football record with 2,411 rushing yards in a season. Offered in this lot is Walkers contract with the New Jersey Generals signed in February of 1983. Walker has signed this contract in black pen, with the signatures of the Generals general manager and the USFL commissioner also appearing on the contract. This contract comes with a PSA/DNA STICKER ONLY (J48118).
