The 1983 Major League All-Star game was the 50th Anniversary of the very first All-Star Game that was also played at Chicago’s Comiskey Park. This game featured a dominating performance by the junior circuit as California Angels outfielder Fred Lynn delivered the only grand slam in all-star history leading the American League to a 13-3 victory. It was the first victory for the American League since 1971 and only its second win since 1963. Hall of Famer Rod Carew also made his 17th appearance in the game in collected two hits and an RBI.

This offered 10K gold Balfour ring is a 1983 All Star ring and it features a beautiful blue stone on the top with white highlights. One side of the ring has engraved “ALL STAR 1983” while the other side has the “50th Anniversary 1983 ALL-STAR GAME” and the White Sox logo. The Balfour and 10k markings are on the inside band but have partially faded. The ring weighs approximately 10 grams and is an approximate size 10 ½. It is overall good condition and it is accompanied by a Balfour ring box and a LOA from PSA/DNA (AA08829).
