Steve Calrton, the Hall of Fame lefty, won 15 games for the pennant-bound Phillies. In the NLCS he won two games, holding the Dodgers to 1 run in 13 innings. In the World Series against Baltimore, Carlton lost a heartbreaker in Game 3, losing 3-2 in a spectacular pitching duel against Jim Palmer. Carlton’s World Series Louisville Slugger bat has been made game-ready and is un-cracked. There are some abrasions throughout from contact with other equipment and Carlton’s number “32” has been handwritten on the knob in black marker. The Hall of Fame ace has signed the barrel in blue marker adding, “1983 W.S. Game Bat.” This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (H53105) for the game use and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
