Jackson, a former seventh round draft pick out of Texas, caught a career-high 52 receptions for 731 yards in what would be his final NFL season. The 29-year old Jackson caught two touchdown passes in 1984 and was named the Week 14 Offensive Player of the Week after catching 11 passes for 193 yards and a touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium.
