Important basketball signed by the 1984 Team USA basketball squad. This was the last amateur squad fielded by the United States and what a team it was! Boasting no less than three future Hall of Famers - Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing and Chris Mullin - Team USA went 8-0, averaged 95.4 points per game to their opponents 63.3 and took the Gold. The Los Angeles Olympic Games was the perfect opportunity for the 12 college athletes to showcase their talents to the world. The games were the first time a wide audience had the chance to see Michael Jordan and his speed and scoring gave basketball fans a taste of what was to come. All 12 players on Team USA went on to play in the NBA. Seven of the signatures are light but the Michael Jordan and Chris Mullin are strong. Vintage ball signed in 1984.
