This offered maroon Philadelphia Phillies cap was worn by Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt during the last five seasons of his legendary career (1985-89). Schmidt won his third and final MVP during the 1986 season at the age of 36 and still had productive years to close out his career. This cap has the Phillies’ “P” logo embroidered in white, which has some staining. The cap itself displays heavy game use with dirt and sweat stains and was made by Sports Specialties. This cap measures 7 1/8 and Schmidt’s number “20” is handwritten in black marker on the gray underside of the brim. This hat could be one of the last ones ever worn by Schmidt and it comes with a LOA from MEARS for the game use.
