Longtime MLB third baseman Buddy Bell wore this gray Cincinnati Reds road pullover during the 1985 season. Bell was dealt to the Reds from the Texas Rangers in July of 1985 in exchange for Duane Walker and a Player To Be Named Later. Bell took part in 67 games with the Reds in 1985, hitting six homers with 15 doubles and 36 RBI as the Reds finished 89-72 under player-manager Pete Rose.
This pullover jersey has “CINCINNATI” sewn across the chest in red tackle twill. Bell’s number “25” is sewn on the chest and back in red tackle twill. “BELL” is sewn across the back shoulders in red tackle twill. The sleeves and collar are accented with a red and white pattern. A Rawlings size “44” tag with an attached “SET 1 1985” flag is sewn on the front inside tail. This jersey shows light to moderate wear and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
