With an American League Rookie of the Year Award, an AL MVP and World Series title under his belt, Hall of Famer and baseball’s Iron Man Cal Ripken, Jr. reached the 100 home run mark during the August 15th, 1985 game. Ripken’s 3-run blast in the bottom of the second inning came off Texas Rangers pitcher Dickie Noles as Ripken’s 2-for-4 day led the Orioles to the 9-1 victory. Offered here is the very ball that Ripken hit for his 100th career home run. This Official American League Bobby Brown stamped baseball displays outstanding game use with dirt stains and other abrasion marks. Ripken has signed his name in blue pen on the north panel. The sweet spot has inscribed in black pen “HR 100 Dickie Noles (Tex) 8-15-85”. This ball comes directly from the personal collection of Cal Ripken, Jr. and a signed LOA will accompany this milestone baseball.
