This bat dates to a time when Harold Baines roamed the outfield, long before he became one of the first “fulltime” designated hitters. In 1985 Baines hit .309 with 22 homers for the White Sox, earning himself the first of six All-Star Game selections. The Rawlings 369B model bat shows tremendous game use. The barrel displays many prominent ball marks which include white leather ball scuffs, ink transfers and stitch impressions. The handle has a light coat of pine tar and the knob has Baines’ number “3” handwritten in black marker. The barrel end has been labeled with “WHITE SOX 1983.” This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16793) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.5.
