Based on our research, this Jostens 10K-gold, size 10 ring appears to have been awarded to a 1970s 'Canes baseball alumnus by the name of Joe Vega. It is engraved "JAV" inside the band and displays an enamel Miami logo, raised-relief stadium scene, and "HURRICANES / THE LIGHT / AMERICA'S HAPPIEST TEAM." (Which references their home at Mark Light Field and their Coach Ron Fraser's memorable comment after a trip to Gainesville that his players were "America's happiest team.") NM condition. Accompanied by a Jostens box and 2010 purchase LOA.
