The key to the 1985 Chicago Bears championship season was their unbreakable defensive. Led by Hall of Famer Mike Singletary, the Bears cruised through the regular season with a 15-1 record and held their opponents scoreless through the first two playoff games. The Bears crushed the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XX by a score of 46-10, in a large part thanks to the impenetrable defense led by Mike Singletary. From the personal collection of the Bears defense leader comes this signed replica Lombardi Trophy. The heavy award features a half-size football perched on a pedestal on which an engraved plaque reads: “VINCE LOMBARDI TROPHY  SUPER BOWL XX CHAMPIONS  THE CHICAGO BEARS.” A side panel has an additional engraved plaque with “MIKE SINGLETARY #50.” The Hall of Famer has signed the pedestal above his name in black marker adding “HOF 98.” The trophy shows visible surface wear to the silver finish, along with edge wear and toning from age.
