Encapsulated and graded 7.0 with a “First-Party H-Seam” seal rating of B+ by WATA Games. Offered here is a sealed and graded copy of "Super Mario Bros." released in North America in October of 1985 for their Nintendo Entertainment System. This platform game starring plumbers Mario and his brother Luigi on a quest to save Princess Toadstool from Bowser single-handedly resurrected the video game console industry after the collapse of 1983. A launch title for the NES, "Super Mario Bros.," is one of the best-selling games worldwide. The title sold 50 million copies and cemented "Super Mario Bros." in popular culture and is considered one of the greatest games of all time.
This presented black box copy of "Super Mario Bros." features a hang tab and an "NES-GP" code on the back of the box. There is no "REV-A" label, no "NES TM" label, and the box features a round Nintendo "Seal of Quality" that indicates that this copy was produced in early 1987. Numerous scratches across the box do nothing to detract from the sheer video game history contained within the box—a highly graded copy of one of Nintendo's most best-selling and influential titles in good condition.
