The friendly outfielder was the face of the Braves during their doldrums years. Through their decades-long tour of the second division, Murphy was a perennial All-Star and two-time National League MVP. 1987, one of the four years this bat can be pinned down to, was Murphy's last great season. The outfielder hit 44 home runs and batting .295 as his borderline Hall of Fame career drew to a close. This Louisville Slugger B310 model bat displays outstanding use with a crack on the lower and mid handle. Murphy’s number “3” has been handwritten on the knob and top barrel in black marker.
