Hall of Fame reliever Rich Gossage used this bat, a tough find, during a trio of seasons spent between the Padres, Cubs and Giants. The mustachioed reliever was putting the finishing touches on his Hall of Fame career, including becoming only the second pitcher in history to join the 300 Saves Club in 1988.

“Goose” used this Louisville Slugger Y30 model bat during the 1986-89 seasons and it shows outstanding use with a handle crack. Slight checking from repeated ball contact is found on the back barrel and Gossage’s number “54” is hand written on the knob and barrel end in black marker. This bat comes with an LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12860) for the game use.
