Dwight Evans spent 19 seasons with the Boston Red Sox before finishing his career with the Orioles in 1991. During his career he hit 385 home runs, played in three All-Star games and won eight Gold Glove Awards. This Worth bat was used by the Sox right fielder during the 1986-1988 seasons in which he hit a cumulative .286 and swatted 101 homers and helped Boston win the 1986 American League pennant. The Louisville Slugger C271 model bat shows good game use with several ball marks and scuffs visible on the barrel. The handle has been taped in a crisscross pattern and the knob taped to enhance the grip. Evans’ number “24” is handwritten on the knob and the Tigers star has signed the barrel in strong blue marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17842) for the game use and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
