Daryl Strawberry provided the thump in the lineup for the 1986 New York Mets, who steamrolled their way to the 1986 World Series title. Strawberry finished the season with 27 home runs and 93 RBI as he made his third consecutive All-Star Game appearance.
Strawberry wore this size 42 N.A. Goodman & Sons New York Mets home white with pinstripes jersey during the 1986 regular season. This pullover jersey features “Mets” sewn on across the chest in blue and orange tackle twill. Strawberry’s number “18” is sewn on the center left chest in blue and orange tackle twill. The back of the jersey has “STRAWBERRY” sewn on in blue and orange tackle twill on a white name plate above his number “18” that is sewn on in blue and orange tackle twill. The sleeves and sides of the jersey are lined in an orange/blue/orange ribbed material stripe with the left sleeve having a “Mets 25th Anniversary 1962-1986” patch. The bottom front left tail has the “NA Goodman & Sons 42” manufacturer’s tag with a “LONG” flag attached. The jersey shows moderate game use with some stains on the front and back and Strawberry has signed his name below his number on the back of the jersey in blue marker. This jersey comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for the game use and Strawberry’s signature has been pre-certified by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
