Former New York Met Kevin Elster wore this Mets road jersey during the team’s memorable postseason run that culminating in them winning their second and to-date last World Series title in 1986. Elster’s size 40 W.A. Goodman & Sons pullover road Mets jersey features “Mets” and his number “2” sewn on in blue and orange tackle twill. The Goodman tag is sewn on the left front tail and a gray “SET P ‘86”, which indicates that this jersey was made for the postseason, is sewn next to the Goodman tag. The back of the jersey has “ELSTER” sewn in blue and orange tackle twill on a matching gray nameplate with his number “2” sewn on in the same material below. The sleeves have a ribbed orange/blue/orange striping pattern, which is the same pattern and material that runs down each side. The left sleeve has the Mets 25th Anniversary logo patch and Elster has signed his name in blue marker below his number on the front of the jersey. This jersey comes with a LOA from 100% Authentic and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
