Encapsulated and graded 8.5 with a “First-Party H-Seam” seal rating of A by WATA Games. There are few games as iconic as the original "The Legend of Zelda" released for the Nintendo in 1986. Iconic Nintendo game designer Shigeru Miyamoto designed the game. It is set in the mythical land of Hyrule, with the plot centering around Link, who was charged with collecting 8 fragments of the Triforce of Wisdom to rescue Princess Zelda from the clutches of the evil Ganon. "Zelda," as it is colloquially called, came with a then-rare gold cartridge inside a gold box and incorporated elements of action, adventure, and role-playing genres with a flip-screen overhead perspective. The game featured a vast, open, and nonlinear overworld that beckoned the player to discover items such as heart containers, potions, weapons, and dungeons containing the fragments of the Triforce on their own. The game that introduced Link, Ganon, and Zelda to the world was released to commercial and critical acclaim, selling over 6.5 million copies and launching one of the most popular franchises in gaming history that persists today. The Legend of Zelda continually ranks as one of the greatest and most influential video games of all time, whose influence can still be felt today.
This offered sealed copy features an oval Nintendo "Seal of Quality" with a "REV-A" stamp and a three-screw cartridge indicating that this copy was produced between March 1989 and April 1990. A sealed and graded copy of one of Nintendo's most influential offerings with an attractive seal rating of A and an overall box grade of 8.5.
