Presented here is a 6x4-inch typed letter on Official Vice President letterhead signed by former Vice President and President, George H. W. Bush. The letter, dated April 25, 1986, is addressed to Larry in response to Larry's letter to the Vice President on April 4. Bush, who served two terms as Vice President under President Ronald Reagan from 1981 to 1989, goes on to thank Larry for two articles from the London Financial Times that Larry had sent the Vice President, and Bush Sr. goes on to state that he and his wife, Barbara, send their warmest best wishes. Bush Sr. signed the letter with a black felt-tip marker. The signature is bold, and the letter contains some edging and early elements of toning. The item comes with a 7 x 5-inch photograph of Bush Sr. shaking hands with a man we can only presume is "Larry" from the addressed letter. The photograph contains some scratches and is connected to the letter by scotch tape on the back. The personal letter signed by then-Vice President George H.W. Bush accompanied by a photograph comes with an LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signature.
