Love him or hate him, Reggie Jackson has the certain “something” that makes a great ballplayer. A 14-time All-Star, Mr. October was in the autumn of his long, illustrious career when he used this Adirondack bat, hitting .241 with 18 homers for the playoff-bound California Angels. Interestingly, Jackson has “disguised” the fact that this is a Louisville Slugger bat by adding a tape ring on the handle — the slugger was under contract with Adirondack at this time and was supposed to use their bats exclusively. This Louisville Slugger J93 model bat is un-cracked and shows outstanding use. The handle has been taped to enhance the grip and Reggie’s number “44” is written on the knob and barrel end. The bat has been signed by Jackson who added, “Best Wishes Always 3/12/86” in silver pen. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13660) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.5, plus a LOA from PSA/DNA (AE07204) for the signature.
