Wade Boggs won the World Series with the New York Yankees, and his 3,000th hit – a home run – came while playing for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. But when it was time for his Hall of Fame induction, there was never a doubt that Boggs would enter as a member of the Boston Red Sox. In 11 seasons with the BoSox, Boggs accumulated over 2,000 hits for a .338 BA. He had 200+ hits in 7 straight seasons, winning 5 batting titles in that time frame.
