In 1986, the New York Mets were the kings of Major League Baseball. With a lineup that included Lenny Dykstra, Mookie Wilson, Daryl Strawberry, Keith Hernandez, Gary Carter and Dwight “Doc” Gooden, the Mets improved from a 98–64 record in 1985 to finish the 1986 season with a franchise record 108–54 record, giving them the division title. They went on to defeat the Houston Astros in six games in the NLCS and the American League champion Boston Red Sox in classic seven-game World Series.

Offered is a New York Mets home jersey with the signatures of 33 members of the 1986 World Series Champions. The white jersey with blue pinstripes has blue and orange stripes on the shoulders and on the sides and features the New York Mets logo embroidered on the front in blue with orange borders. The players have signed the jersey in blue marker on the front in two columns.
