Hall of Fame power forward Charles Barkley wore these Nike Air Force high-top sneakers during the 1987-88 NBA season. Barkley, who played for the Philadelphia 76ers from 1984 until 1992, scored a career-high 28.3 points per game in 1987-88. He added 11.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game as he made his second career All-Star team in 1987-88.
These shoes are primarily white, with red and blue accents and blue Nike swooshes sewn on each side of the shoes. A Nike tag is sewn on the tongue of each shoe and “NIKE” is applied to each heel in red. The shoes display heavy wear, including some cracking on the tongue. Barkley has signed the outside of each shoe in bold black marker. These shoes come with a LOA from MEARS for the game use and a LOA from JSA (Z83384) for the signatures.
