Presented here is a Minnesota Twins ballcap worn and signed by the Hall of Fame outfielder Kirby Puckett during the 1987 season. Puckett, a lifelong Twin, played in Minnesota from 1984 to 1995, making 10 All-Star teams and hitting for a career batting average of .318. Puckett led the American League in hits four times and won the AL batting title in 1989 by hitting at a .339 clip. Puckett retired after the 1995 season and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001. This navy cap has a red “M” Twins logo sewn on the front. A New Era tag is sewn on the back of the sweatband, while Puckett’s number “34” is written on the underside of the brim in black marker. The hat is approximately sized 7 to 7 1/8 and Puckett has signed the underside of the brim in blue fine-tip marker. This cap comes with a LOA from JSA (Z86340) for the signature and a LOA from JT Sports for the game use.
