In his second Mid-Summer Classic, Lee Smith struck out four—including rookie Mark McGwire in his home ballpark!—and recorded the win. Humorously, he also had to borrow an Expos batting helmet when he went up to bat as Chicago Cubs teammates Andre Dawson and Ryne Sandberg were nowhere to be found. Smith's Balfour non-gold ring is a huge size 15 and features a beautiful top design with the MLB logo visible beneath a blue stone. Logos for the 1987 All-Star Game and NL appear on the shanks. This ring is in NM condition and comes with a LOA from Smith.
