Offered is a 1987 Minnesota Twins team-signed Official Major League Peter Ueberroth World Series baseball, with 34 signatures of the 1987 World Series champion Twins. The Twins defeated the St. Louis Cardinals four games to three to win their first World Series. Twins pitcher Frank Viola was named as the 1987 World Series MVP. Tom Kelly, the manager of the ’87 Twins, has signed his name on the sweet spot in blue ink. Hall of Famers Bert Blyleven and Kirby Puckett have signed this ball, along with the signatures of coach Rick Stelmaszek, Dan Gladden, and Gene Larkin in blue ink, and Sal Butera and Don Baylor in black ink. To the right are the signatures of coach Wayne Terwilliger (in blue ink) and others.
