Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson spent four plus season with the New York Yankees, where he batted .288 and contributed to his record stolen base total with 326. Aside from his 14 seasons with the Oakland A’s, the Yankees were the team he played for the most of his Hall of Fame career.

     Henderson wore this size 42 Wilson New York Yankees button-down pinstripe jersey during the 1987 season, where he appeared in 95 games. A trademark of Henderson jerseys was the tail being trimmed, which is present on this jersey. The front of this pinstripe jersey has the interlocking “NY” sewn on in navy blue tackle twill on the upper left chest. On the off-white inner lining of the back collar is the team strip tag that reads “Henderson 87 2” indicating the player, year and set number. The back of the jersey has “24” sewn on in navy blue tackle twill. Henderson signed his name in black marker on the right front chest. This jersey comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (B54311) for Henderson’s signature and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
