Though he only played in New York for less than five summers, Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson broke the Yankees stolen base record that had stood for almost 80 years. 1988 was the last full season for the greatest lead-off hitter of all time and he used Louisville Slugger M1728 model bat. This bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, stitch impressions and cleat imprints present on the barrel. Henderson’s number “24” is handwritten in black marker on the knob. This bat comes directly from the collection of Willie Randolph and a signed LOA from Willie Randolph will accompany this item. Additionally, there is a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18037) for the game use.
